This training is combined in Region II, four times a year, with Rights training. It explains Maine’s Regulations Governing Emergency Interventions and Behavioral Treatment for People with Mental Retardation and/or Autism. These regulations govern the use of emergency interventions and behavioral treatment in a manner consistent with maximizing the safety, well-being, independence, and inclusion of Maine citizens with mental retardation or autism.
