About the IRC
The Information and Resource Center (IRC) is part of the Office of Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services. It houses a collection of books, videos/dvds and pamphlets which are searchable online. Library materials are loaned, and pamphlets and OSA publications are distributed free statewide.
In addition, the IRC maintains listings of treatment facilities, support group meetings, and other resources in Maine. Most of this material is available full text online.
Staff will assist with searches for information. Call or email your inquiries to us.
