Department of Continuous Performance Improvement

The mission of the Continuous Performance Improvement Department is to promote excellence in care through analyzing data, educating staff, and utilizing performance improvement methodology through the support of leadership and staff empowerment.

The purpose of the Department is to provide a systematic approach to ensure hospital wide performance improvement in patient care and outcomes. Its function is to improve services through evaluating, monitoring and analyzing data pertaining to the areas of high risk, high frequency and high cost.

The Department encompasses the areas of Clinical Risk Management, Utilization Review, Medical Staff Credentialing and Hospital-wide Performance Improvement.
