Wraparound Maine Initiative, Phase 2

Bidders Conference: June 20, 2008, starting at 1:00 p.m. local time at the Office of Child and Family Services, 2 Anthony Avenue, Augusta, ME (Anchor Room).

The State of Maine, Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Office of Child and Family Services, is seeking proposals to establish three additional sites for the Wraparound Maine Initiative, one each in Kennebec/Somerset Counties, Lewiston-Auburn, and Washington/Hancock Counties. The Wraparound Maine Initiative supports the application of High Fidelity Wraparound that is based upon the research, standards and principles defined by the National Wraparound Initiative (NWI). Wraparound Maine enhances existing collaborative service planning approaches in Maine and supports an integrated planning approach for youth with complex needs.
 
Eligible to Bid: Public agencies, private non-profit corporations [including 501(c)(3)] and institutions that have a current contract with the Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Child and Family Services, Children’s Behavioral Health Services to deliver Children’s Targeted Case Management Services for Children and Adolescents with Emotional Disturbance, Behavioral Disorder, Mental Illness, Mental Retardation, or Pervasive Developmental Disorder, as described in Maine Care Benefits Manual, Chapter II, Section 13.12.

The Request for Proposals is also open to non-profit or not-for-profit parent-family support organizations under the following condition: The organization must sub-contract with a qualified Targeted Case Management provider to deliver both the facilitation of Wraparound, and the supervision of those delivering the facilitation.
