Details: This project seeks to encourage recruitment and retention of health professionals in Maine’s rural and underserved communities by introducing youth to careers in health care, educational programs, and the National Health Service Corps mission and support. Students in health professions schools of higher education throughout the state are given access to electronic mentors in health care, as well as job shadowing opportunities and NHSC scholarship/loan repayment information. This program will begin in October and will run for one year." |
