DHHS Implementation Plan for SFY 13
This 10-minute session will introduce the goals, processes and the next steps to establish performance-based contracts for State Fiscal Year 2013.
Presenter: Bonnie Smith, Deputy Commissioner for Programs
Performance Based Contracting Measures
The goal of the DHHS Performance Based Contracting initiative is to include performance-based measures in all community service contracts beginning in State Fiscal Year 2013. The intent is to assure that all services purchased by DHHS align with the Department’s strategic mission, focus on measurable outcomes and meet clear performance objects.
DHHS Program Areas have identified performance measures for direct service contracts. Meetings are being scheduled for March to present initial performance measures listed below to Providers. The Department is anxious to have feedback on measures, strategies, data collection and recommendations for supplemental service measures.
