Posted December 17, 2003 - A Second Airing of the Parent Media Campaign!!!
A second airing of the Parent Media Campaign will be launched on Friday December 19th and will run until January 25th! The "new" campaign will run the original ads and introduce a new ad. In addition, there will be two ways local communities can get involved in this powerful statewide effort:
*The campaign has created "Stuffers" (mailings) with the message about the Parent Media Campaign that you can use in your local communities. These stuffers will have important inforamtion about the campaign and will have blank space where you can place your coalition information as well. This is a great tool to let people in your local area know about your coalition and this campaign! The stuffers can be used at grocery stores, banks, or any other place where there are customers! All you need to do is find local, interested partners who would like to participate in this project! These stuffers will be available through OSA on January 12th.
*Radio spots have been developed for this new campaign. They will be aired for two weeks. Additional time could be purchased by a coalition or donated by a local station. This could dovetail with other coalition efforts spread the word.
If you are interested in getting the stuffers or need more information about the radio spots, contact: Linda Williams at linda.williams@maine.gov or call 287-8909
And for the Parent Media Kits and video, contact:
Jo McCaslin at jo.mccaslin@maine.gov or call 287 8917
