Rules Governing the Controlled Substances Prescription Monitoring Program

The rules governing Maine's prescription drug monitoring program changed in 2011. The changes became effective September 19, 2011. Please follow the links on the right of this page for the current rules.

Pursuant to LD1435, the rules governing the prescription monitoring program are currently in the process of undergoing an amendment. Please note that these rules have not yet moved to final adoption. The current rules in place can be found under "Featured Links"
