Sub-account User First Time Log-in

  • Go to http://www.maine.gov/pmp
  • Enter your new User ID, which you were assigned by the Main User (e.g., your medical director).
  • Enter “password” (all lowercase, now quotes) in the Password field.
  • The next step is to change your password. Enter “password” again in the “Old Password” field. Create a new password and enter it in the “New Password” field. Passwords must include -
  • at least eight characters,
  • at least one capital and one lowercase letter,
  • a number, and
  • a special character (e.g., period, percent symbol)

(Passwords must also start with a letter. You may want to write your new password in the space provided below.)

  • The next page is a Privacy Statement. Read it carefully and ask any questions you have of your supervisor before you proceed. If you agree to the terms, enter the User ID of the Main User in the field labeled “Sub-Account users must ….” Then, enter “Sign” (without the quotation marks) in the “e-signature” field.
  • The next screen will ask you to change your e-signature. There are no requirements for the e-signature; it will be requested each time you try to look up a patient, so it should be short and memorable. (Most people use some form of their name.)

Upon subsequent log-in attempts, you will need -

Your own User ID: ______________________

Your new password: ______________________

User ID for your Main User: ______________________

Your new e-signature: ______________________

Please save this information in a secure location away from any computers with Internet access. Never share your login information with anyone other than your Main ID User.

If you have any questions at any point in this process, please call the PMP Help Desk at (207) 287-3363.
