Adult Programs

The Adult Corrections Substance Abuse Treatment Network is a coordinated statewide system providing a centralized screening and referral process to identify adult offenders with substance abuse issues. The Office of Substance Abuse (OSA) and the Maine Department of Corrections (MDOC) collaborate on this project. OSA contracts with Substance Abuse Treatment provider agencies to provide Institutional (Prison and Jail) and Community based evidence based Motivational and Cognitive Behavioral treatment programming to adults involved with the criminal justice system.This provider network meets regularly to monitor program implementation and build better systems for access and referral of adult criminal justice clients statewide.

Adult Services

• Community Differential Substance Abuse Treatment (DSAT) Program for men and women
• Adult Drug Treatment Court (ADTC)
• Institutional DSAT Services located in Maine Department of Corrections (MDOC) Facilities and local jails
