Get Help and Funding for Electronic Health Records and High Speed Internet
April 11, 2013
All MaineCare providers will be receiving a short survey from the Sewall Company, on behalf of MaineCare Services. The survey will be sent via email to the contact person listed in our provider enrollment system. The subject line will be: “Message from MaineCare Services about funding for electronic records and high speed internet.”
The survey will be used by the ConnectME Authority the state agency which provides assistance and funding for high-speed broadband, and MaineCare, to reach out to providers on funding opportunities and ways to get and improve the use of internet technology and electronic health records. The survey will also help us to plan for future needs and opportunities.
The survey will also ask for permission to contact you about possible funding or technical assistance for computerized health records, being able to send and receive information about your patient’s health care from other providers (over a secure and private line), and internet services that can send the information faster and more secure.
If you receive the survey and you are not the appropriate person in your organization to complete it, please forward to the appropriate person. Participation in this survey is free and voluntary, and we expect that it will take less than ten minutes to complete.
