Portal Issue when Editing Direct Data Entry (DDE) Claims

PORTAL ISSUE WHEN EDITING DIRECT DATA ENTRY (DDE) CLAIMS
We are aware of an issue where claims entered by Direct Data Entry (DDE) through the Health PAS Online Portal cannot be edited while in an ADJUDICATED status. This occurred after a recent portal upgrade on December 2, 2012 and impacts claims edited using DDE. When attempting to edit a claim in an ADJUDICATED status, providers are receiving an error message that states “Cannot save the claim as the status has been modified outside”. We are working on a resolution for this issue and you will be notified when this has been corrected. In the meantime, as a workaround, you can wait for the claim to move into PAID status, reverse the claim, and resubmit.
