Nursing Facility Web-Based Training

MaineCare Services in collaboration with the Office of Elder Services, Long Term Care Ombudsmen Program, and Maine Health Care Association, will present a web-based training on Changes to Section Q of the Minimum Data Set (MDS) 3.0. This training will include changes to Section Q of the MDS 3.0 form, information on recent changes to the Local Contact Agency (LCA), and a presentation on the “Money Follows the Person” program that will be followed by small group breakout sessions to discuss scenarios.

This training is intended only for Nursing Facilities. This training is not intended for Residential Care Facilities or Adult Family Care Homes.

The training will be offered on two different dates: - Thursday, July 19, 2012, from 10:00-11:30 - Tuesday, July 24, 2012, from 1:00-2:30

Handouts and copies of the presentations will be available for download at the time of the presentation. The call will be recorded to capture the questions and discussion.

You can have more than one person participating from one location, phone line, and computer if all of you can see the training on the computer monitor. Once you register, we will send the training link to you through email.
