Coordination of Benefits (COB) Reminder

Charges entered into the COB screen must be equal to the allowed amount that the provider and the insurance company agreed to. This is shown on the insurance company’s Explanation of Benefits (EOB). The allowed amount should equal the amount paid plus the patient responsibility.
