Delay in Pharmacy Claims Payment

After the recent upgrade to the MaineCare Pharmacy Point-of-Sale system, there was a delay in processing pharmacy claims adjudicated between 1/18/12 and 1/26/12. The issues causing the delay have been addressed, and pharmacy claims will be processed over the weekend.
Providers can expect a one week delay in receiving payment on any pharmacy claims that were submitted during this timeframe. We anticipate that we will pay two weeks in one cycle.
