Chapter 1 Timely Filing Update

This is a follow up to our August 31, 2011 message regarding a Chapter 1 Emergency Rule for the timely filing limits. The Department will not be implementing this emergency rule, however, as Chapter 1 is currently adopted, the Department is able to waive timely filing requirements for claims that are impacted by:
- Retroactive eligibility
- Coordination of benefits involving another, primary, payer
- Special circumstances as waived by the Department
