Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP)

"The primary purposes of an SCSEP project are to provide useful part-time community service training assignments for persons with low incomes who are 55 years old or older and to provide useful community services while promoting transition to unsubsidized employment." From the OES Policy Manual Who Can Apply?

SCSEP is open to anyone in the State of Maine who is 55 years of age or older, has low income, and is eligible to work in Maine. Income caps vary depending on the number of people in the household, and some income may be excluded or 'discounted'.
