Telephone Discounts

Verizon Lifeline Service can reduce your basic monthly bill.  You may be eligible if you are get benefits from one of the following programs: Food Stamps; Fuel Assistance (HEAP); MaineCare; Supplemental Security Income (SSI); Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF).

Verizon’s Installation Subsidy Program provides for installation or reconnection of telephone service for $10.00.

AT&T’s Lifeline Program will pay for the Universal Connectivity charge, the carrier line charge, and the $3.00 minimum use charge.  You can qualify if you are eligible for the Verizon Lifeline Service described above.
