Please Instructors, remind the med pass observers that the clinical med pass
sheets are to be returned to the instructors for them to determine pass or
fail of the course.
If the clinicals are sent in without the instructor knowing the information
to us is held up as incomplete. We can not determine if the clinical
instructors have informed instructors of student performance.
When students are passing medications at a facility, the student initials
on the front of the MAR. Then the student and the instructor signs and
initials on the back of the MAR that this was an observed student medication
pass. This is the practice that is accepted by the Department and has been
observed in practice since students do not have a certificate yet. Thanks.
