Home care: Where to find It

Office of Intergrated Access& Support

The Office of Integrated Access and Support is part of the Department of Health and Human Services. They determine financial eligibility for MaineCare programs. They have a series of pamphlets that help people learn about MaineCare rules.

For example,

• Pamphlet 1 answers questions about financial eligibility for nursing home care in Maine.
• Pamphlet 2 gives important information you need to know about giving away or transferring money or property.
• Pamphlet 3 explains financial rules for MaineCare while in a nursing home.
• Pamphlet 4 is about getting help from MaineCare for nursing care services in your home.
