Child Care Plus ME
Child Care Plus ME is a collaborative partnership between the University of Maine's Center for Community Inclusion and the Maine Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Child Care and Head Start.
The purpose of Child Care Plus ME is to offer problem solving assistance and training to support child care centers, family child care homes, families, preschools, public schools, and community programs so that they may provide quality experiences to all children, including those with challenging behaviors and children with medical, physical, and developmental disabilities.
Services provided include:
- Telephone consultation
- Video review and consultation
- On-site consultation
- Staff development and training activities
- Resource information
