Children's Behavioral Health Services - Central Office StaffBehavioral Health Services Project Manager - Responsible for the implementation of the delivery of mental health services to youth within the institution of the Southern Maine Correctional Facility. Children's Services Director - Oversees all operations of Children's Services from the central office level; decides and implements policies relevant to the delivery of a system of care; acts as liaison for the Commissioner in issues effecting Children's Services. Director of Clinical and Practice - a half-time child psychiatrist whose function is to provide clinical leadership to co-lead, with the Quality Improvement Manager, CBHS’s Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement Programs. Current tasks include developing foundation process for QA/QI efforts regarding behavioral health programs throughout the Office of Child & Family Services; developing trainings for Child Welfare Services staff on mental health treatment; supporting the development and implementation of evidence based practices processes; consulting on specific evidence based programs; supporting the development of staffing qualifications for Applied Behavioral Analysis; consulting on treatments for Autism, and developing a study on the use of atypical antipsychotics in children in Maine. Management Information System Coordinator - Responsible for liaison work and communication between Children's Services and Office of Information Services. Medical Director - Responsible for policy development of this Department as it pertains to medical integrity of service delivery in the community; oversees behavioral health services program delivered by DOC at MYC and by MHPC in the DOC offices. Policy and Procedures Manager - Responsible for policy/procedures development as it pertain to compatibility with other state agencies as well as the legal responsibilities of this Department; maintain contact with the regional offices relative to required documentation of services delivered. Quality Improvement/Assurance Manager - who is the liaison to the DHHS office of Quality Improvement and responsible for implementing the Children’s Quality Improvement Plan, overseeing the staff training and certification process required for behavioral health services and habilitation services workers, and the CBHS representative to the Lean Management Team. Social Service Program Specialist - performs interdepartmental collaborative work with other child serving agencies on the design and implementation of new and existing programs and services for children with behavioral health needs, including MaineCare policy and development of a federal Home and Community Based Waiver for children with Mental Retardation and Autism. Systems Manager - Responsible for field operations regarding regional program and policy implementation; liaison to other child serving departments. |
