Children's Behavioral Health - Provider Information

Meeting Information

  • Provider meetings are now held on an as needed basis.

  • On October 16, from 9:30-11:00, there will be a provider meeting and phone conference for Section 28 providers.  During the provider meeting last spring, OCFS distributed a draft site review tool, and talked about piloting the draft tool and procedures.  The pilot has been completed, and OCFS would like to share what has been learned, and distribute the revised site review tool.  There will be one statewide meeting, held at the Augusta Armory - Room 209-B  on the second floor , on 179 Western Avenue in Augusta.  Given the considerable issues involved in travel to meetings, we encourage providers to consider joining by conference call if that's more convenient.  The conference call number is 1-877-455-0244, conference code 6817834166.
If you have questions, please contact Rachel Posner at rachel.posner@maine.gov.

  • The Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) is a multi-purpose tool developed for children's services to support decision making, including level of care and service planning, to facilitate quality improvement initiatives, and to allow for the monitoring of outcomes of services.
