DHHS allocates federal block grant funds to support various services throughout the state based on need. The intent of block grant funding is to support community-based services for children whose treatment is not funded by MaineCare. The services listed are examples of Block Grant funding within the last 2 years. The Children’s Block Grant is $881,137 annually. Access to these services is contingent upon determination of eligibility for DHHS services consistent with our governing statute.
