Soon after the first of every year, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) publicizes a list of Volunteers in Tax Assistance (VITA) who can assist you to prepare your federal income tax returns.  There is no charge for the service.  The list is available at the beginning of every year at the Area Agencies on Aging page
