Family Caregiver Support Program

The Administration on Aging started a new National Family Caregiver Support Program for families caring for older individuals, and for grandparents caring for grandchildren. Each Area Agency on Aging has a Family Caregiver Coordinator who provides or arranges for:

• Information and assistance
• Individual counseling
• Support groups
• Caregiver training
• Respite care
• and other services
