Maine SAVVY CAREGIVER Training The 12-hour training is provided in 6 sessions. |
Maine SAVVY CAREGIVER Training is sponsored by the Office on Aging and Disability Services, Department of Health and Human Services and funded by the Administration for Community Living. The training is evidenced-based and provides family caregivers of people with dementia, the knowledge and skills essential for successful caregiving. The training results in reduced stress, improved attitudes, and increased confidence for caregivers. |

Healthy Choices Training |
In collaboration with MaineHealth’s Partnership for Healthy Aging, the area agencies on aging, and other community partners, the OADS Aging Services will implement and disseminate these four evidence-based programs statewide at senior centers, nutrition programs, senior housing projects and faith-based organizations. Priority will be given to expand program access to rural areas and selected underserved areas.
