National Drinking Water Week: May 6 to 12

The DHHS Maine Center for Disease Control’s Drinking Water Program is sponsoring the National Theatre for Children to travel to schools served by community public water systems during National Drinking Water Week. The National Theatre for Children performs skits that educate kindergarten through sixth grade students about the importance of safe drinking water.
The following public water systems and schools will host the National Theatre for Children:
May 8: York Water District
Starting at 9:30 a.m., the Theater will perform three skits at the York Village Elementary School.
May 9: Winthrop Utilities District
At 8:30 a.m., the Theater will perform one skit at the Monmouth Middle School.
At 1:30 p.m., the Theater will perform one skit at the Winthrop Grade School.
May 10: Stockton Springs Water Company
Starting at 10 a.m., the Theater will perform three skits for the Stockton Springs Elementary School at the Lincolnville Elementary School.
May 11: Winter Harbor Water District
Starting at 9 a.m., the Theater will present two skits at the Mountain View Elementary School.
At 1 p.m., the Theater will present one skit at the Winter Harbor School.
