Central - District 5 Public Health Unit

Overview

Central Maine District does not yet have an official Maine CDC Public Health Unit nor are staff co-located. At present, Maine CDC staff serving the Central Maine District include:

• 1 Field Epidemiologist;
• 8 Public Health Nurses (PHNs) plus 1 PHN Supervisor,
• 2 Health Inspector/Sanitarians, and
• 1 Drinking Water Field Inspector.

With no District Liaison or Unit, pro-active coordination of regional Maine CDC staff is yet to occur.
