The Maine Immunization Program supplies these vaccines FREE to your provider

DTaP: Diphtheria, Tetanus and Acellulular Pertussis Any child younger than age 7
IPV: Inactivated Poliomyelitis Vaccine Any child up through age 18
MMR: Measles, Mumps and Rubella Any child age 1 up through age 18
Hib: Haemophillus Influenza type b Vaccine For Children Program (VFC**) eligible children up through age 5
Hep B: Hepatitis B VFC** eligible children up through age 18
1st dose Varicella: Chickenpox Any child age 1 up through age 18
2nd dose Varicella Chickenpox VFC** eligible children up through age 18
PCV: Pneumococcal Conjugate Vaccine
  • VFC** eligible Healthy children up to age 5
  • VFC** eligible High Risk children up to age 5
Hep A: Hepatitis A VFC** eligible children age 1 through age 18
Rota: Rotavirus VFC** eligible children younger than 32 weeks
Tdap: Combined Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis Vaccines VFC** eligible children age 10 up through age 18

  • Underinsured children in Maine do not need to be sent to a FQHC or RHC to receive VFC vaccine. They can be vaccinated at your provider office.
