Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs)
Maine's federally qualified health centers (FQHCs) provide care to medically underserved areas where healthcare access is otherwise limited or non-existent, especially for those who are uninsured, underserved or have MaineCare coverage. FQHCs include health care for the homeless sites and care for Maine's migrant workers and their families.

KeepMEWell is designed to help Maine residents assess their risk for chronic disease, improve their health through education, and link them to local resources and supports that can help them decrease their risk of chronic disease and improve their health.
CarePartners is a healthcare access program that helps low-income, uninsured Mainers gain access to primary and specialty care services through a volunteer network of health care providers.
The Maine Breast & Cervical Health Program offers free breast and cervical cancer screenings to low-income, uninsured or underinsured women.
The Maine Colorectal Cancer Control Program offers free colorectal cancer screenings to low-income, uninsured or underinsured men and women.
