Adult day services

  • Adult Day Services - Adult Day Services provide social and health services designed to meet individual needs. Services may include: meals; social, physical and educational activities; information and referral; assistance with personal care and activities of daily living; and health monitoring. Eligibility

  • Financial Eligibility - If you can't afford to pay for medical care right now, MaineCare may make it possible for you to get the care that you need so that you can get healthy - and stay healthy. Some MaineCare services, such as nursing home care and in-home services require you to be both financially and medically (see above) eligible.

Medicare

  • Medicare Information - If you are 65 and over and receive Social Security Retirement or Railroad Retirement benefits you are eligible to receive Medicare to help pay certain medical expenses.

Respite care

  • Caregiver Information - If you are providing care for a loved one, you are faced with an enormous amount of responsibility and work. Often there are no others there to help you, and you have little time to take care of your own needs. This page includes some resources which may be helpful.
