Boil Water Orders

When an order is issued:

The Drinking Water Program has a Boil Water Order policy which lists nine deficiencies which require an Order. In general, an Order is issued if an event occurs which could introduce contaminants to the system (such as failure of chlorination equipment or increase in turbidity) or if the presence of fecal coliform and/or E. coli is detected during recheck sampling. An Order can be voluntarily imposed by the water system or issued by the DWP.
