Customer Support

The Customer Support Unit takes complaint calls for all the medical facilities, assisted living and adult day care, as well as complaint calls for child cares within the State of Maine. Both of these units help insure the safety and well being of children in Maine. The Out of Home Investigations Unit is legislatively mandated to investigate child abuse and neglect allegations in foster homes, child cares, children’s residential facilities, as well as hospitals, and mental health agencies that work with children.
