Mental Health Agency Licensing Standards; Staffing - Volunteers and Students

VS.1
Individuals who work as volunteers for the agency or who are students shall be clearly identified by title as volunteers or students.

VS.2
Student supervision shall include documenting in their personnel record contact with the person at the school who is supervising the student's educational progress.

Interpretive Guideline for VS.2
If the school does not designate a liaison, documentation of this should be placed in the student's personnel record.

VS.3
Students or volunteers are supervised by individuals with licensure, certification, or experience in an area germane to the work assigned.
