Children Mental Health Rights; Rights In Inpatient and Residential Settings - Statement of Intent

These rules (Part B) apply to all inpatient and residential facilities, agencies and programs providing mental heath services, which are licensed, funded or contracted by either the Department of Health and Human Services, including state operated institutes and facilities, except that Section III shall apply only to inpatient psychiatric units, while treatment planning in residential facilities shall be governed by Part C(II), Individualized Treatment or Service Plan. Part B should be read in conjunction with Part A, Rules of General Applicability.
