Peer Supports & Self Help Groups

“Peer Supports” are centers where you will find other people who are working on their recovery. There are several throughout the state and they offer different things. What you will always find there are friendly people who can support you in your own recovery work. Self help groups are 12-Step groups such as AA (Alcoholics Anonymous) or DRA (Dual Recovery Anonymous) or other types of support groups for people recovering from mental health and/or substance abuse conditions.

To find a list of either of these resources, see pages 23 -27 of Many Roads To Recovery.

Check back with this site periodically where you will find announcements about new meetings and their locations when they develop!
