Carseat Check Locations

What is a car seat check? 

A certified Child Passenger Safety Technician checks to see if:

• The child’s car seat is securely fastened to the vehicle seat with a seat belt or the LATCH system
• That the seat is the right seat for the height, weight, and age of the child
• That the harness holding the child in the car seat is snug

The parent is taught how to install the car seat to the vehicle and to secure the child in the car seat the correct way.
The purpose is that each child seen leaves safer than they arrived.
