HEALTHY COMMUNITIES VIDEO
This 16-minute video gives a basic introduction of the Healthy Communities process as used by a number of different Maine communities.

TIP: Hold a small gathering, or loan the video for individual use to key stakeholders to build investment in the Healthy Communities concept. Short- or long-term loan.

HEALTHY COMMUNITIES OVERVIEW TRAINING
This one-day training provides a condensed overview of the “Healthy Communities” framework and principles to improve community health and quality of life. The training will cover key concepts and available resources, review experiences of local initiatives, and connect your community to statewide activities. These trainings are available periodically and are strongly recommended to identify CHPP perceptions of best practices.

TIP: Consider bringing more than one person from a community to these trainings, which are very low-cost. It is an excellent way to help start an initiative, or strengthen new members’ understanding of their existing initiative’s work.

HEALTHY COMMUNITIES DIALOGUE GUIDE AND ACTION GUIDE
Available from CHPP/CDPP or over the Web at the address below. Excellent step-by-step guide to conduct roundtable dialogues to discuss local community health and quality of life issues. Excellent resource to mobilize and engage community citizens and sectors.
