Comprehensive Cancer Control

Screen ME!

As many as 800 people are diagnosed with colon cancer in Maine each year, and approximately 300 die from the disease. It is estimated that regular screening could prevent as many as 50% of those deaths. Screen ME! is a statewide, multi-year social marketing campaign that aims to increase awareness and screening of colon cancer among Maine adults, age 50 and older.
