Region I - Adult Developmental Crisis Services

A limited number of state personnel work as staff at the two crisis programs in York, Cumberland, and Oxford Counties. These individuals, in partnership with the agencies they are affiliated with, provide crisis and emergency services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to any individual in need. They offer a wide range of services some of which include crisis intervention, follow-up counseling, and referrals to other community services.

The OACPDS Crisis Service for Region I is a team of 12 individuals. Crisis workers serve all consumers, their families, and their support staff, regardless of the time of day or night. Crisis workers can be reached via 24 hour hot lines at Ingraham Volunteers in Cumberland County, and CRS in York County. Consumers can seek help via the hot line with any sort of emergency or problem: medical, emotional, housing, and so on.

Crisis Workers can be reached via the statewide crisis number 1-888-568-1112
