Scenario: In this lesson you be taught how to read plan information in EIS. Keep in mind, plans have slight differences depending on what service population you work in and what type of plan you are viewing.

Step: Click PLANNING in the EIS Menu "Hot Area" User Prompt: You have already anchored on your person. To view their plans, click PLANNING in the EIS Menu.

Step: Click underlined plan ID "Hot Area" User Prompt: To view details for a plan, click on its underlined plan ID (for example 'MM Crisis Plan').

Step: Click expand "Hot Area" User Prompt: This is the plan level page. Notice the new section on the left-hand side of the page. This is called the 'plan tree' and works much like Windows Explorer with its subfolders. To expand a folder (to see subfolders), click the expand button in front of it (looks like a PLUS sign). In this example, we'll expand the 'Harm Self Concern' folder.

Step: Click expand "Hot Area" User Prompt: Let's now expand the new subfolder that appeared (Harm Self Goal). To do this, click the expand button (+) in front of 'Harm Self Goal'.

Step: Click action folder "Hot Area" User Prompt: Now we can see an "Action Level" folder in the plan (Harm Self Action). Click the folder for the action to view details for the action on the right side of the screen.

Step: Click plan level folder "Hot Area" User Prompt: We now want to view the details for the plan level again. To do this, click the plan level folder (the top one).

Step: Click underlined note TITLE "Hot Area" User Prompt: To view the note's details, click the underlined note TITLE.

Step: Click PLAN DETAILS in the EIS Header "Hot Area" User Prompt: View the note details. To go back to the plan, click PLAN DETAILS in the EIS Header.
