Simulation Name: Using Printer Friendly Reports
Simulation Mode: Teach me

Scenario: You have the ability to print out information from EIS in the form of 'mini-reports' called Printer Friendly reports. In this lesson you will be taught how to view and print out a Printer Friendly report.

Screen Name: #1: People Demographics - Microsoft Internet Explorer

Step: Click PRINTER FRIENDLY in the EIS Header "Hot Area" PRINTER FRIENDLY in the EIS Header
User Prompt: From any page in EIS, click the PRINTER FRIENDLY icon (small printer) in the EIS Header. Keep in mind, not all EIS pages have a Printer Friendly report associated with them and if the page you choose does not have a Printer Friendly report associated with it, you will get a message stating so.

Step: Click All Client Information Report PF #87 "Hot Area" All Client Information Report PF #87
User Prompt: The first thing to do is to select the FORMAT for your report. The default is HTML. HTML report formats tend to compile faster and then the information in them can be copied and pasted into other programs (like Microsoft Word). PDF (ACROBAT) reports take longer to compile, but tend to look nicer when printed. Let's keep the HTML format. Click the report name "All Client Information Report PF #87" to run the report.

Step: Select File > Print.
User Prompt: To print the report, click the FILE menu and then select PRINT.

User Prompt: Click PRINT to print the report (the report won't actually print).
