Job Description:
Clinical Counselor(s)
Clinical counselor is a professional position involving the delivery of clinical services to individuals and families with mental health and substance abuse related issues.
Minimum Requirements:
A Master’s Degree in social or behavioral sciences and licensed by the State of Maine to provide clinical services either independently or under conditional status, (LCSW, LCPC). All employees must demonstrate non-chemically or addiction dependency, or be free of chemical or addiction dependency for the past two years and receive negative findings on all background checks.
General Information:
FICS is a busy mental health and substance abuse practice that provides services to a dual diagnosed population working closing with families and providers utilizing a family systems model.
Typical Duties:
Provide direct therapy to individuals, families, and couples in a community based practice.
Testing Procedure:
No formal testing procedures are required for this position.
