Community Care is excited to offer outpatient mental health services to children & adolescents.

In order to improve access for children and family counseling & medication management service, Community Care has established an outpatient clinic at our Bangor office for MaineCare eligible children & adolescents. These services will allow for better continuity of care for clients being adopted and/or reunified and provide the community with a quality mental health service for children experiencing emotional or behavioral issues.

JobDescription:
The individual who fills this position will provide direct clinical services to children and families in their homes in the above referenced geographical area. An essential component of this position is the ability to meet the needs of a broad range of clients and families, including birth, adoptive & kinship families who are either involved with the Department of Health and Human Services; seeking home-based support services to prevent disruption; or working towards reunification. The candidate will assist in the identification of the behavioral, medical, social, rehabilitation and educational needs of clients and work in conjunction with providers/team to ensure the availability of appropriate services to each client. Competitive salary and benefit package to both full time and part time (minimum 24 hours) employees. The Candidate will provide Case Supervision to a team of Behavioral Health Professionals.

Minimum Qualifications:
LCSW, LCPC, or Ph.D., Licensed or otherwise recognized as qualified by the state in the disciplines required for the children served by the program. Will accept LMSW Conditional II or LCPC Conditional under provision that individual will be fully licensed within time frame defined by supervisor. M.S./M.S.N. (masters level psychiatric nurse) licensed in the State of Maine (or eligible).

Job Description:
The Clinician who fills this position will provide direct clinical services to adolescents and families in their homes and in the residential setting. An essential component of this position is the ability to meet the needs of a youth transitioning back into to their families, or to foster homes or kinship homes. The Clinician will assist in the identification of the mental health, behavioral, social, rehabilitation and educational needs of clients and develop and implement treatment and support plans for the child and their family. The Clinician is also responsible for providing case supervision and guidance to direct staff and leadership in the therapeutic milieu. Competitive salary and benefit package is offered

Minimum Requirements:

We are seeking a FT clinician and/or contractee to provide mental health and substance abuse counseling to children, adolescents, and families in our outpatient mental health and substance abuse clinic in Bangor.

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications: Eligible masters level candidates will have clinical licensure in mental health and substance abuse, and professional experience working with children and families.
