Job Description:
Intern and work study positions available also 24-40hrs/wk
FSW Responsibilities: The employee will have direct interaction with client and client's families under the guidance of a clinical supervisor. The employee will provide valuable input to the clinical supervisor and team members; this enables the client's treatment plan to fit their ever-changing needs. Services are provided in the home and community settings. An emphasis is placed on coordination with all providers involved with the identified client and family. Through repetition of skill-based intervention, staff is able to assist clients in learning the necessary skills to become more independent, recognize their potential, and overcome difficulties.
Minimum Requirements:
Applicant must hold a valid Maine driver's license and liability insurance. Bachelor's degree in Social Services or related health field or be enrolled in the fields listed above for internship or work study opportunity.

Responsibilities:
Supervise 1:1 employees and in-home support for families with special needs children. Participate in Outpatient Mental Health counseling for individuals, families, and groups.
Outpatient mental health counseling will take place out of Care & Comfort’s Waterville, Bangor, and Presque Isle offices.

Habilitation Specialist (HS)
Bangor, Farmington, Machias, Presque Isle, and Waterville
Pay Grade: Pay rate will be commensurate with the candidate’s level of experience
Responsibilities:
Employee will have direct 1on1 interaction with client inside the home or community setting according to the guidelines established in the Individual Habilitation Plan and under the supervision of a clinical supervisor. Employee would be expected to provide information directly to the clinical supervisor regarding problems or changes in the client's condition. Other duties or skills may be required as directed by appropriate supervisor.
Qualifications:
Applicant must hold a valid Maine driver's license and liability insurance. High school diploma or GED and minimum of twelve months experience working with children who have special needs or behavioral health needs.

Registered Nurse (RN)

Pay Grade: Pay rate will be commensurate with the candidate’s level of experience
Responsibilities:
Employee will provide direct patient care, personal care and support. Employee will be expected to perform treatment(s) as directed in the care plan. Prepare, dispense, and monitor the effects of any medication and/or treatments prescribed by a physician. Proper documentation of all client needs, changes, and any services performed will be accomplished. Interim/renewal physician orders will be obtained as necessary and communicated effectively. QUALIFICATIONS: An associate’s or bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of nursing, valid/current nursing license from the State of Maine is necessary.
