Becket Family of Services
Becket Family of Services provides a variety of services within
the continuum of care to assist in meeting the permanency needs
of Maine’s children and their families. The Becket Programs
are dedicated to Family Centered Programming that focuses on
stabilization and treatment to help ensure family unity. Our
residential treatment programs are located in Belgrade, Norridgewock
and Litchfield. We operate three special purpose day schools
located in Belgrade, Caribou and Lewiston. We also provide in
home treatment and stabilization services to families in the
community. Our benefits package for full time employees includes
a tiered percentage of employer paid health and dental insurance,
403B with a 5% employer match after one year of service, voluntary;
life, short term disability and accidental death and dismemberment
insurance as well.
Residential/Permanency Workers
Location: Caribou

Job Description:
Proposed Residential Program in Caribou designed to meet the needs of behaviorally challenged,
non-verbal learners/developmental delayed residents ages 12-17. These positions provide direct
supervision and assistance to residents as well as therapeutic recreation activities. This
program will operate on a permanency model with a goal of supporting the family system, community
and the resident in achieving the highest and most independent community based functional level
possible.

Residential Counselor
Location: Belgrade
Pay Grade: $10.25 to start

Job Description:
Our residential counselors provide direct care to residents.
Minimum
Requirements:
A high school (or equivalent) education and each counselor
needs First Aid, CPR, and MANDT training and OQMHP certification.
We will provide this training.
Typical Duties:
Providing direct care to the residents which may include,
daily living skills, recreational activities, crafts and
any other duties necessary to reintegrate and reunify our
residents in the community and with their families.
