Richardson Hollow Mental Health Services is licensed by the State of Maine 's Department of Behavioral and Developmental Services (DBDS) to provide MaineCare reimbursable community support services for adults and children coping with serious and persistent mental illness, behavioral disorders, or mental retardation / developmental delays. Our offices are located in Augusta, Brunswick, Dixfield, Fairfield, Lewiston, Norway, Strong, and Rockport.

Job Description:
Richardson Hollow Mental Health Services an $8.5 million, 215 employee for profit mental health agency is seeking an Executive Level Accountant to lead the Finance Department. This highly responsible position will work closely with the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operations Officer while performing financial and budget preparation, analysis, recommendations and audits; monitoring daily cash flow across all programs and offices; and preparing monthly statements and other internal or external reports. Daily department operations will include working closely with the Finance Manager to guide and oversee the billing and payroll staff while working with computerized Medicaid and grant fund billing systems, a partially internal payroll processing system, and computerized payable and receivable accounts.
Minimum Requirements:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is required and a Masters Degree in Business Administration/Accounting is preferred. Extensive knowledge of finance management and accounting and a variety of software systems is necessary. Strong organizational, verbal and analytical skills as well as solid judgment and the ability to provide leadership and supervision to staff are also required. Candidates who have experience in the MaineCare (Medicaid) system will be given priority.

Community Integration Worker

Job Description: You can help adults coping with serious mental illness to live successfully in their homes. Community Integration Services (formerly known as Adult Case Management Services) involve the identification, assessment, planning, linking, monitoring and evaluation of services and supports needed by eligible individuals.
Minimum Requirements: Qualifications include an understanding of serious mental illness, a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid Maine driver's license and the ability to work as a team member without a great deal of external direction. An MHRT-C is necessary; however, we will train the right individual in-house.

In-home Support Worker, Adult Program

Job Description: In-home Support Workers provide supports that include but are not limited to: community tenure/community integration; adult daily living skills; therapeutic activities including social/emotional development and symptoms management; personal supervision and other services that support the clients' growth and recovery in managing their illness.
Minimum Requirements: A commitment to work in the mental health field with a solid understanding of serious mental illness, MHRT I certification or the ability to attain certification within 12 months of employment. An Associates degree or relevant life/work experience is preferred. Travel is necessary and all adult support staff must have a valid Maine driver's license, reliable vehicle, insurance and clean driving record.
Typical Duties: Work one-to-one in the homes of persons with severe and persistent mental illness, helping them develop and maintain the skills needed for community living.
Testing Procedure: No testing procedure; however, all new hires are on a three-month initial employment probationary status during which time both the employee and the organization can determine if a good employment fit/match has been made. Must have MHRT I within 9 months of employment (in-house training).

Case Managers for Children with MR/DD/MH Concerns
Pay Grade: $23,000 to $27,000

Immediate openings for Children's Case Managers in all of our offices. Case Managers are a cornerstone of a good support system for children coping with mental illness issues. Our Case Managers work closely with children and their families to ensure they receive services needed to be successful in all areas of their lives; the rate of pay is about $23,000 to $27,000 depending on experience and will increase during the late spring/early summer of this year.
