School-based Mental Health Clinician

Job Description:
The School- based Mental Health Clinician serves as a mental health services generalist to a range of school-based clients, kindergarten through high school senior, including evaluation and treatment through appropriate modalities. We have several opportunities for clinicians who want to work with children and adolescents, providing on-site counseling and intervention services in a school setting. These part-time positions have flexible hours that can be adjusted to fit your schedule. Particular expertise with child and adolescent clients would be preferred.
Minimum Requirements:
You must be independently licensed (LCSW, LCPC, or Ph.D.). We will also consider LMSW or LCPC conditional with some experience. Prior experience working with adolescents and families, and familiarity with school systems a plus.

Residential Support Worker

Job Description:
Energetic and caring professionals to provide skills-building and rehab-focused services in innovative supported living environments, to adults with mental illness. You'll provide individualized case management services to clients, helping them to identify and plan appropriate developmental activities.
Minimum Requirements:
You should have a Bachelors degree in a human services field and at least one year of related experience, but we will also accept a combination of education and experience working with individuals with mental illness. Certification as Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician (MHRT) II is required, as is a valid, unrestricted drivers license.

Typical Duties:
1) Supports and assists consumers in accessing and maintaining access to their living environments.
2) Supports and assists consumers in their day-to-day functioning with regard to life roles.
3) Aids consumers in gaining and maintaining independence through hands-on development of skill building and resource management (normalizing resources).
4) Provides individual and/or group services to develop continuity in skill building, as identified by consumer.
5) Assesses consumer need for ILS services in the areas of ADL skill-building, interpersonal skills, community integration and tenure skills, career exploration, personal health and safety and community safety.
6) Completes all necessary documentation of services in a timely and accurate fashion.
7) Coordinates and consults with KVMHC staff and other services providers, as necessary.

Outpatient Clinicians

Job Description:
Drawing clients from Kennebec and Somerset counties, KVMHC's Outpatient Services program operates with a staff of 25 therapists. Due to increased demand, we are looking for additional full-time, part-time, and per diem therapists to deliver psychosocial therapy at our Augusta and Waterville locations. You will provide individual, group and family assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning and counseling services.
Minimum Requirements:
Positions require current independent licensure (LCPC, LCSW, or Ph.D.). We will also consider LMSW or LCPC conditional with some experience if nearing independent licensure. Prior experience in the mental health field is desirable.

House Manager

Job Description:
The House Manager is responsible for the day-to-day supervision and management of the assigned Supported Housing Program, including the coordination of rehabilitative services within the Program. The House Manager is also responsible for the overall productivity, supervision, and distribution of work to housing staff to assure compliance, timeliness and the provision of quality program services. Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors Degree with 4 years of relevant work experience with individuals who have mental health issues and 2 years supervisory experience. MHRT II certification required. Masters degree in a Mental Health field LCSW, LCPC, or LMSW and 2 years of supervisory experience preferred. Must possess strong clinical and leadership skills and the ability to function independently.

6) Collaborates with other internal programs and external agencies to ensure cooperative case coordination and smooth provision of services.

Home-based Family Therapist

Job Description:
As part of a new program of home-based services for families, we are in need of several full-time therapists. These positions provide short-term, time limited, crisis oriented counseling services to identified families with children at risk of removal from home or those returning from an outside placement. Will receive extensive training in delivery of Multisystemic Therapy services to children and families.
Minimum Requirements:
The ability to interact with parents and children in emotionally challenging circumstances on a daily basis is necessary. Candidate should be independently licensed, with a Master's or PhD degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related subject area. Previous experience with home-based delivery or work in family therapy preferred.

It is the Family Visitation Specialist's responsibility to facilitate purposeful activities and interactions between parents and children who have been removed from their homes under protective custody. As a Family Visitation Specialist, your role will be to observe and document family visits, model and teach daily living and parenting skills, and coordinate with other providers to ensure continuity of services.
