EIS Instructions - Checklist for Closing/Transferring/Deceased

When closing a case:

  • After you have anchored on the client, go to the show menu, and choose People-Enrollment Status List. You will need to end the current enrollment status and Add a new one choosing Disenrolled.
  • Go to the Show menu, choose People-Relationships/Associations. You will need to end all relationships with the ISC.
  • Click on Assessments on the left menu. Choose the current MR Case Status Assessment. Create a new version of the current (no end date) MR Case Status Assessment. You need to indicate in this Assessment under the Questionnaire the Current Department Case Management Status Is: “Closed”. When finished, save & close the Questionnaire, & lock and close the Assessment.

When a Client is deceased:

  • Anchor on the person. This takes you to the People Demographics page. In the upper left, under the name of the client, enter the “Date Deceased”, Save.
  • A new version of the MR Services & Supports Assessment will need to be created.
  • Go to the Show menu, choose People-Relationships/Associations. You will need to end all relationships with the ISC.
  • Go to the show menu, and choose People-Enrollment Status List. You will need to end the current enrollment status and Add a new one choosing Disenrolled.
  • Click on Assessments on the left menu. Choose the current MR Case Status Assessment. Create a new version of the current (no end date) MR Case Status Assessment. You need to indicate in this Assessment under the Questionnaire the Current Department Case Management Status Is: “Closed”. When finished, save & close the Questionnaire, & lock and close the Assessment.
  • A new version of the MR Services & Supports Assessment will need to be created changing everything to no in all 3 dimensions.

When a Client is transferred to another region.

  • Anchor on the person. Go to the Show menu, choose People-Relationships/Associations. Add the Departmental Association of the Region that the client is transferring to. End Relationship with ISC. End Departmental Association to your Region. (Once this is done, you will no longer be able to access this client’s record.)
